Shoo-Baby & The Fair

On Monday, Morgan got to spend the day with our friends from Hudsonville. They have a boat docked in Grand Haven. I was able to join them after work! Thanks guys for having us out!! Morgan enjoyed it once she warmed up to the idea of a bigger boat! I thought I took some pictures but the only picture I have is one of the ducks attacking the dingy! Good work!! :)

That night, we went to the fair. Morgan was so excited to see more animals! She would have spent all day there! She loves all animals and wasn't afraid at all! We walked around for a while and had some junk food! We were thankful the rain held off!

On another note...we got Morgan's blood work results....Everything LOOKS GREAT!! Thank you Lord!!! Everything has gone down...one was cut in half! We go back in January!

First Haircut

Last week Thursday I decided it was time to get Morgan's haircut! Her first official haircut! We have had the bangs trimmed numerous times but nothing off the back! My cousin Lori cuts hair so we went over to her house and she did it! It looks much better and it wasn't as bad as I had thought! Thanks Lori for putting up with a "crazy" mom and all her pictures!!!

2 year pictures

I'm trying to save money by taking my own 2 year pictures...however, it hasn't gone quite that well! Last week Thursday we went to the Fish & Game and tried to take some but she didn't really want to cooperate so here are two we got

On a side note...we went to the GI doctor yesterday (her Celiac Doctor). Everything went well and she is doing awesome! They were so excited to see her growing! We did blood work and Morgan rocked! She never cried or flinched! She was such a big girl! So proud of her! Thank you Lord for a healthy little girl!

Blueberry Picking

Saturday I got a wild idea to go and pick blueberries. Kristi (that I work with) had gone and picked some on Port Sheldon so I thought let's go! I was going to go to the Farmer's Market but decided last minute to pick! So at 8:30, Morgan and I were picking blueberries! I have never picked blueberries before so it was quite interesting. I'm sure the lady thought I was from the city but oh well! We had fun and Morgan enjoyed doing it too! We picked three pounds and they are almost gone so we will probably go again!

Morgan's BIRTH Day

Morgan got to spend her birth day with my mom during the day. She was spoiled (to say the least)! They went for lunch with my grandma and she got ice cream and a nice man gave her a quarter. Then at night we went to Neal's ball game and then we went to AppleBee's with the team. They heard it was her birthday (well, she was wearing her pin) so they came out and sang to her! She wasn't too sure of it but didn't cry!

2 year check up

We went to visit Dr. Locke yesterday for Morgan's 2 year check up! Everything looked great! Morgan talked up a storm and showed Dr. Locke her climbing skills! We don't have to go back for a check up for a whole year! I'm sad about this...I love Dr. Locke! I know we will go back in October for the flu shot but that doesn't guarentee that we will see her! For her stats...30lbs!!!!!! She has put on 10 lbs since Feb! We are so thankful for that! She is 32 3/4" tall which is 2 1/2" since Feb!!! Tuesday we go to the GI doctor in GR so we are excited to see what they have to say!

Happy Birthday Morgan! We can't believe you are two! We love you so much! You have learned so many new things this past year! You are now running, talking non-stop and you love to read! You love the water! You love singing and you love dancing! You love animals and you love your
family and friends! We love you and can't wait to see you grow more this year!

2nd Birthday Party

Sunday night we had about 17 family and friends over to celebrate Morgan's 2nd Birthday! Hard to believe that our little girl is 2! We had a great time, great food and lots of things for Morgan! She received lots of clothes!!, some toys, swing, new life jacket and new swim vest! She is well loved and spoiled! Thanks everyone for coming and making this day so special for Morgie! She loved her ice-cream cake too!! :)

Grandpa's Boat

We finally were able to go out on my parent's boat last week! We had a great time and the weather was alright! This was the first time since last year that Morgan was on it! SHE LOVED IT!!! She is totally different then last year! She would throw the ball to Chauncey (my brother's dog) and she loved riding on the boat too! We hope to get out there again sometime in the near future!

We ended with bathtime at Grandma's!

We've been BUSY!

I was told that I needed to up date my blog!!! I have been there just hasn't been any pictures and now that I'm not working I don't have a computer that lets me! So I was finally able to up load some pictures only to realize I haven't been good at taking them! So, here are a few!

Last week Morgan hurt her finger on my aunt Sarah's bike. It got a little infected so we would have her wash her toys so we could get it clean! She isn't wearing a shirt because it got soaked (along with the chair, floor, cupboards and her pants!)

Two weeks ago on a Saturday, I let her finger paint and do water paint (use water and the colors appear)...this was all done before 9 am!! That's early for us to be up!! AHHH!!!!

Saturday night (the fourth) my mom took Morgan to the Overisel Fireworks! She had fallen asleep on the way there and stay asleep for a little bit...until there was a loud boom and she woke up screaming for Mommy...home! So they left! We did sparklers the other night and she was still freaking out about it...until she realized they didn't go boom!

The Terrible Twos are often characterized by oppositional behavior, mood changes, and temper tantrums. "No" becomes a favorite word. Yup...a week from now we will have a 2 year old!! OH MY!! Where has the time gone!! I can't wait for this "terrible two" stage to begin...or wait! I think it has!!!!

I'm Watching You

If Neal or I use the 1/2 bath Morgan thinks she needs to "watch" us! I finally caught her in action!!!
